Duties

- Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Support bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as, Sage.
- Perform bank reconciliations regularly to verify account balances and identify discrepancies.
- Help prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review.
- Conduct account analysis to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Support payroll processing by verifying employee salaries and deductions within payroll systems.
- Assist with account reconciliation tasks, ensuring all ledger entries are accurate and complete.
- Contribute to auditing procedures by preparing documentation and supporting internal controls.




- Collaborate with team members on budgeting activities and financial planning initiatives.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions in compliance with company policies.

Experience

- Prior experience in accounting or finance, accounting degree is preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping principles, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and auditing processes.
- Basic understanding of corporate finance concepts including budgeting, account analysis, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and procedures will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team environment.
