Position Summary
Psiphon is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support reporting, data consolidation, and process development across our product and platform teams. Reporting to the Product Manager, this role owns the mechanics of our recurring reporting cadence, building dashboards, consolidating data from multiple sources, writing the reports themselves, and standing up new processes where none currently exist. This includes working with technical and network analytics to build a transparent narrative for both technical and non-technical audiences.
The role covers both ongoing product reporting and ad-hoc project reporting, and contributes to strategy work through product research and market analysis, supporting a range of products, platforms, and projects across the business. This is a heavily cross-functional role, requiring regular coordination across engineering, product, and other teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesReporting & Dashboards
- Build and maintain a product dashboard for executive and cross-functional consumption
- Own monthly and quarterly product reporting, consolidating inputs from multiple teams and platforms
- Interpret technical and network analytics data and translate it into a clear narrative for leadership and non-technical stakeholders
- Support monthly and quarterly project reporting on an ad-hoc basis,
depending on which projects are active
- Track KPIs and other performance metrics across supported products and platforms
Process & Data Infrastructure
- Design and implement processes for capturing and reporting on data where none currently exist
- Identify gaps in existing data collection and build solutions to close them
- Maintain and improve existing reporting processes as products and projects evolve
Strategy Support
- Support strategy work through product research, including a deep understanding of our own products and platforms
- Research the external landscape, including competitors, market trends, and industry developments, to inform product strategy
- Synthesize research and reporting into recommendations for the Product Manager and broader team
Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with engineering, product, marketing and other teams to gather accurate, timely data and align on reporting needs
- Support the Product Manager and broader product team across various products, platforms, and active projects
- Track resourcing, timelines, and other operational details across supported initiatives
QualificationsRequired
- 1 to 3 years of experience in business analysis, business management, reporting, or a related operations function
- Comfort working with technical and network analytics data, with the ability to translate it into a narrative
- Experience building dashboards and writing reports for leadership or cross-functional audiences
- Experience working with incomplete or messy data and building structure where none exists
- Ability to work independently and reason through problems to find answers, rather than relying on being handed the solution
- Strong research skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple products, projects, and stakeholders at once, including shifting priorities as projects come and go
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Based in the GTA or willing to relocate; must be able to work in-office 3+ days per week
Nice to Have
- Experience with Linear, Slack, GitHub, or Superset
- Interest in internet freedom, privacy, or digital human rights

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
