Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Clerk to join our team. As a Junior Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Responsibilities

- Perform various accounting tasks with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable and reconciliation of daily receipts.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks
- This list is not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned as required.

Experience & Skills

- Previous experience as an accounting clerk or similar role (min. 1 year)
- Related post-secondary education (min. 1 year)
- Excellent computer skills and learns software and systems quickly
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Demonstrates initiative, is team-oriented, and able to work independently
- Excellent problem-solving skills,
- Must exhibit attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations (strong numbers orientation)




- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Must be reliable, honest and trustworthy
- Exercises valuable judgment to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Motivated individual who takes pride in a job well done

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
