Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior CAD Designer and Quality Control Technician to join our team in Engineering and Quality department.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in computer-aided design (CAD) and quality assurance within a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will support design projects, assist with drafting, and ensure the quality standards of our products are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and update 2D and 3D models using CAD software.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
- Inspect finished parts against quality standards and blueprints.
- Report defects and help fix production problems.
- Work with the shop floor team to improve product design.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in mechanical design, manufacturing,



or a related field.
- Basic experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Good eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use basic measurement tools like calipers and micrometers.

Preferred Assets

- Hands-on experience with VISI CAD software.
- Background in tool and die design or mold making and machining is an asset
- Previous experience in a quality control role and Cad design with Polyworks software and 3D Dimensional Scanning using Creaform (Go Scan)
