Junior Preventative Maintenance Technician

We are a world class Automotive Parts Manufacturer, currently looking for a Junior Preventative Maintenance Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Electrode inspection and installation

· Building systems preventative maintenance

· Motoman, Fanuc and Fronius welder – clean, change filters and coolant

· Responsible for daily preventative maintenance activities

· Lubricate various pieces of equipment

· Washline maintenance

· Work with Contractors

· Work in a protected manner at all times

· Maintains due diligence in regard to environmental matters, minimize any potentially harmful accidents and work in compliance with ISO14001.





· Will work in compliance with all legislative requirements of the OHSA

· Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager

· Overtime as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Forklift license would be an asset

· DIYer – mechanical/electrical repairs

· Experience with hand tools

· Worked in a related field

· Strong verbal and written communications

· Basic excel and word software skills

· Mechanical aptitude

· Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks

· Strong problem solving techniques

· Ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Must be able to work day shift (8:00AM – 4:10PM)

· 1-2 year Millwright pre-apprenticeship would be an asset

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$33.00 per hour
