Heritage Ford is seeking a motivated, organized and customer-focused individual to join our Service Department as a Junior Automotive Service Advisor.
This is a structured learning and development position designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in automotive service. The successful candidate will work closely with and learn from an experienced Senior Service Advisor while assisting with customer communication, vehicle intake, documentation, follow-up and other daily service processes.
This is not an immediate pathway into an independent Senior Service Advisor position. The successful candidate should expect to remain in a junior support capacity while developing the knowledge, confidence and practical experience required to take on greater responsibilities over time.

What You’ll Do
Working alongside a Senior Service Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers professionally and assisting with the vehicle check-in process
- Listening to customer concerns and accurately documenting the information provided
- Completing vehicle intake procedures according to dealership standards
- Taking clear intake photographs of vehicles, including the vehicle condition, damage, VIN, odometer and other required details
- Ensuring intake photos and documentation are complete and properly saved
- Assisting with the preparation and organization of repair orders
- Maintaining regular contact with customers and providing timely vehicle-status updates
- Following up with customers for approvals, information or scheduling when directed
- Helping coordinate communication between customers, technicians and Parts personnel
- Confirming customer contact information and preferred communication methods
- Supporting appointment scheduling,
vehicle pickup and delivery processes
- Reviewing basic repair and maintenance information with customers under the direction of the Senior Service Advisor
- Helping ensure customers receive clear explanations and consistent communication throughout their visit
- Assisting with completed repair-order documentation and vehicle-delivery preparation
- Supporting customer follow-up and Ford NPS/CSI survey processes
- Encouraging customers to complete their post-service surveys based on their experience
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and bringing concerns to the Senior Advisor or Service Manager promptly
- Safely moving customer vehicles, including full-size pickup trucks, when required
- Completing administrative and customer-service tasks needed to support the Service Department
- Maintaining a qualified, organized and customer-ready work area
What You’ll Learn This position will provide hands-on exposure to:

- Customer communication and expectation management
- Vehicle intake and condition-reporting procedures
- Technician and Parts Department coordination
- Customer approvals, estimates and service follow-up
- Ford NPS/CSI performance and customer-retention practices
- PBS dealership-management software
- Professional handling of customer questions and concerns
Training will be gradual and based on demonstrated reliability, accuracy, product knowledge, communication skills and overall performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills

- Excellent organization, follow-up and attention to detail
- Comfortable speaking with customers by telephone, email and text
- Ability to take clear and accurate vehicle-intake photographs
- Ability to follow established processes consistently
- Willingness to accept coaching and learn from an experienced Senior Service Advisor
- Ability to manage multiple small tasks without losing track of customer commitments
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- A calm, respectful and solutions-focused approach
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership software
- Comfortable driving full-size vehicles, including Ford F-150 and Super Duty trucks
- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence
- Clean driver’s abstract
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer-service experience
- Automotive, dealership or service-department experience
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair terminology
- Previous experience using PBS or another dealership-management system
Automotive Service Advisor experience is an asset but is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates maturity, reliability and a genuine interest in developing a career in automotive service.
Compensation and Bonus Opportunities
This is a salary-based position with opportunities to earn performance bonuses. Bonus eligibility may be based on factors such as:

- Reliability and adherence to department procedures
