The Role

This position is perfect for someone who loves being active and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. You will be the primary caregiver for our daycare and boarding guests, ensuring their safety and happiness from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities

- Playgroup Supervision: Actively manage dog playgroups, monitoring body language to ensure all interactions remain safe and fun.
- Care & Nutrition: Prepare specific meals, provide fresh water, and administer medications as instructed by pet parents.
- Sanitation: Maintain our high standards of cleanliness by sanitizing suites, mopping floors, handling laundry, and performing frequent outdoor waste pickup.
- Pet Wellness:



Conduct "nose-to-tail" health checks and monitor the behavior of all guests to ensure they are settling in well.
- Front Desk Support: Enthusiastically greet our clients and assist with the check-in/check-out process.

Requirements

- Animal Enthusiast: Genuine passion for the well-being of dogs and cats.
- Flexible Schedule: Ability to work 24–36 hours per week, including a rotation of weekends and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, move quickly, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Local Reliability: Must have dependable transportation to our Petrolia facility.
