JKarasu is seeking passionate and dedicated kitchen professionals to join our team as we open a new premium Omakase Yakitori Restaurant in Toronto.

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to restaurant standards.
- Assist with daily mise en place and kitchen organization.
- Cook and grill food while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Learn and execute our omakase and yakitori menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout each shift.
- Work closely with the chef and kitchen team during service.
- Help with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation.

Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred.
- Experience with Japanese cuisine is strongly preferred.
- Yakitori, sushi, omakase, robata,



or izakaya experience is a strong asset.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- English communication skills required. Japanese language ability is an asset but not required.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
