Job Overview
We are seeking a Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will support a variety of maintenance, repair, renovation, and construction-related activities across our residential properties. Working closely with site teams and trades, you will assist with material handling, site preparation, demolition, clean-up, minor repairs, and general labour duties as required.
This position plays an important role in maintaining the quality, safety, and appearance of our properties while ensuring work is completed efficiently and to Cressey’s high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general maintenance, repair, renovation, and construction activities across residential properties.
- Perform demolition, site preparation, material handling, and clean-up duties as required.
- Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, and construction materials.
- Assist skilled trades and maintenance personnel with repair and improvement projects.
- Complete minor repairs, patching, painting, caulking, and other basic maintenance tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, storage rooms, and job sites.
- Remove debris and dispose of materials in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
- Dig trenches.
- Help with retaining wall and fence installations.
- Conduct routine inspections of common areas and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or deficiencies.
- Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with residents, tenants, contractors, and team members.
- Perform other labour-related duties as assigned to support property operations and project completion.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in general labour, construction, maintenance, renovations, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a positive attitude.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and a clean driving record are considered an asset.

Working location: Multiple sites across the lower mainland Pay: From $22.00 per hour
