Are you passionate about helping students learn, grow, and reach their full potential? Scholars of Waterloo Boardwalk is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Teacher/Tutor to join our team and support elementary students in Reading, Writing, and/ French.

As a Teacher at Scholars, you will play an important role in creating a positive learning environment and making a meaningful impact on students’ academic success and confidence. Successful candidates will receive training in the Scholars teaching methodology and will have the opportunity to develop their instructional skills while working with students from Kindergarten to Grade 8.

What We’re Looking For

- Candidates currently enrolled in Teachers College or pursuing a University degree in a related field are encouraged to apply.
- Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification is an asset.
- Previous experience working with children or students is an asset.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
- Strong French oral and written communication skills.




- A genuine passion for supporting students and helping them achieve their goals.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confidence and enthusiasm in working with students from Kindergarten to Grade 8.

Availability Requirements: Candidates must be available to work during our hours of operation:

Monday – Friday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
