Laundry Attendant The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all hotel linens, towels, and laundry are cleaned, organized, and available to support daily hotel operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining the hotel's cleanliness standards and ensuring guests receive fresh, high-quality linens throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

- Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry according to hotel standards.
- Sort laundry by color, fabric,



and level of soiling.
- Operate and maintain commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and remove items that do not meet quality standards.
- Deliver clean linens to housekeeping storage areas and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Monitor and report equipment issues or maintenance needs.
- Follow all health, safety, and chemical handling procedures.
- Assist the housekeeping department as needed during busy periods.
- Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with guests and team members.

Qualifications:

- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
