Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to identify issues and execute repairs effectively
- Engage with customers to explain repairs needed, answer questions, and ensure a positive service experience
- Lift heavy components safely during repairs or maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain detailed service records,



work orders, and inspection reports for each vehicle serviced

Requirements

- Valid license as an Automotive Service Technician or equivalent certification from an accredited program
- Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience demonstrating mechanic skills and mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during vehicle repairs or parts handling
- Strong understanding of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and suspension
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and transparent communication abilities
- Experience with vehicle assembly processes and maintenance procedures is preferred
- Knowledge of safety standards related to automotive repair environments
