We are a Sicilian Street Food quick service restaurant. Working with us, you will help bring the authentic Sicilian tradition to our beloved Toronto.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, food service, and delivering excellent dining experiences to our guests. At least three years of kitchen experience is preferred, training will be provided to ensure quality standards are met.

Food Handler preferred but not mandatory.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items with attention to presentation,



taste, and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory levels are maintained

Experience

- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service workplace
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and practices in the food industry
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Experience working in a fast-paced setting with a focus on quality and efficiency is a plus
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- Italian background and or previous experience in Italian restaurants is a plus.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
