We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Machine Shop Helper to assist machinists and production staff with daily shop operations. The successful candidate will help prepare materials, operate basic machinery, maintain a clean work area, and support production activities while following all safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist machinists with machine setup and production tasks.

- Load and unload raw materials and finished products.

- Operate basic shop equipment and hand tools under supervision.

- Deburr, grind, clean, and inspect machined parts.

- Package and label finished products for shipment.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Perform routine material handling and inventory support.

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and wear required PPE.

- Perform other general shop duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Previous manufacturing or machine shop experience is an asset.

- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).

- Robust attention to detail and willingness to learn.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
