We’re looking for Machine Vision Developer to join our Technical Application Development team within our Winnipeg Office.
Reporting to the Manager, Technical Application Development, this permanent full-time position is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting manufacturing software applications and specialized programming solutions, with a primary focus on machine vision and camera-based technologies. The successful candidate will analyze user requirements, design and implement systems of varying complexity, and identify opportunities to improve business processes through innovative technical solutions.

What You'll Do
- Deliver fully functional and tested applications that meet all business and customer requirements
- Ensure clear and effective training is delivered to MSG/SME in the use of TAD applications Meet development targets ensuring project deadlines are met
- Contribute to research, development and continuous improve software to meet the future needs of the business
- Work with vendors sourcing and testing new hardware
- Work with engineering team on integrating camera and scanning technology with a line
Who You Are
- High technical aptitude; technical knowledge regarding hardware devices, operating systems and applications
- Software development life cycles
- Project Management principles
- In depth knowledge/understanding of multiple programming languages; C#
- Software configuration
- Relational database concepts and SQL language (MySQL and asset)
- Diagnosing hardware issues such as signal noise, dropping of frames
