A large apartment complex in the Bonnie Doon area is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Assistant / Labourer to join our maintenance team. We require someone who genuinely possesses the practical skills listed below and can work independently with confidence.

Responsibilities Include

- Suite preparation and turnover
- General carpentry and repairs
- Deck and step building/repair
- Basic plumbing
- Minor electrical work
- Interior and exterior painting
- Suite demolition (including carpet tear-outs)
- Snow removal
- General labour as required
- Mandatory Emergency On-Call component

A robust working knowledge of hand tools and power tools, with strict attention to safety, is essential.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position involving:
- Frequent lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs (more with assistance)
- Extensive walking, standing, bending, twisting, and reaching

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.




- Mandatory rotating overnight emergency on-call component

(Must be able to answer on-call phone and attend site if required. Additional compensation will be discussed at interview.)

Requirements

- Proven experience in property maintenance, construction, or related trade
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and reliability

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
