Tumbleweed General Store located in the Fort Mckay Industrial Park

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to join our team, committed to ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. This role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks, addressing repair needs promptly, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, strong technical skills, and a keen eye for detail to maintain a safe and well-maintained environment for our customers and staff alike.

We have 3 businesses/buildings that require ongoing upkeep.

Responsibilities

- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
- ongoing daily/regular scheduled maintenance to be completed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance storage areas and work sites.
- Prioritize upkeep/cleanliness and appearance of our store fronts.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to minimize downtime.
- Winter snow removal
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future planning.




- Support safety protocols by identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

- Proven experience in general maintenance work or a related field.
- operate a skidsteer preferred
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on safety and quality.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report issues clearly.

Must possess a valid Drivers license with own transportation, We provide free tank of gas a week for your travel. This is a full time position with a 40 hour work week.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
