Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh ingredients for Maki rolls, including slicing fish, vegetables, and other fillings with precision and care
- Assemble and roll sushi according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station, adhering strictly to food safety protocols
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as cutting, portioning, and garnishing to ensure timely service




- Serve dishes promptly while ensuring quality and presentation meet brand standards
- Follow all food handling procedures to promote a protected dining workplace
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food service, specifically in sushi or Japanese cuisine preferred
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent attention to detail when preparing and presenting dishes
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience in the food industry is highly desirable
- Enthusiasm for serving guests with a positive attitude and professional demeanor

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
