The range of services provided by the units within the OREM appear at every point in the student life cycle, beginning with recruitment and admissions, all the way through to convocation. Members of the OREM team strive to be consistent in their interpretation, communication and application of regulations, policies and procedures while being both professional and respectful of the diversity and complexity of needs across the university campus. The OREM interacts with staff, students, faculty, university and external community members in order to assist in the delivery of core services that cross operational and departmental boundaries (e.g., registration, class and exam scheduling).





It is important that students and our university colleagues are well-informed and well-supported by the OREM and the services offered.

This position is eligible for a hybrid flex arrangement The salary range for this position is:

- Recruitment range: $84,211 to $92,849. Starting salary is determined in accordance with the PEA Collective Agreement.
- Performance range: Up to $109,532. Progression beyond the recruitment range is available through annual performance increases, in accordance with the PEA Collective Agreement.

Job Summary

Mandate:

Reporting to the Registrar, the Manager, Budget & Business Analysis provides strategic leadership on all resourcing matters inclusive of budget development and management, capital asset planning & management, long-term business planning, financial analysis and financial reporting in accordance with institutional and departmental priorities. The Manager provides support and advice to all Associate Registrars and their unit leaders with related strategic planning, operational support, training and resourcing approvals.

Objectives:

- Provide strategic financial leadership and stewardship across the OREM portfolio, aligning advice and support with institutional policy, priorities and plans.
- Responsibly manage budgetary resource proposals to ensure support for critical initiatives and operational needs, including workforce management, across OREM.
- Provide financial and administrative expertise, advice and support to OREM leaders to contribute to enhancing the student experience.

Job Requirements This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to an undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting/Finance stream) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, business planning and change management. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. An accounting designation is required.

- Experience working with a high degree of independence and successfully supporting multiple leaders/teams
