Join our vibrant coffee shop team as a Manager or Assistant Manager, where your leadership will energize our bustling environment and elevate the customer experience! In this agile role, you will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, ensure exceptional food and beverage quality, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills while working in a lively, customer-focused setting. Hours are Wed, Thursday , Friday and every Saturday day shift around 30 hours per week

Duties

- Lead daily store operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of service
- Supervise and motivate team members, including hiring, training, coaching, and conducting interviews
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee quality and safety standards are met
- Manage cash handling procedures and operate POS systems such as Micros POS with accuracy
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas




- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment

Qualifications

- Proven supervising or team management experience within the food industry or restaurant management roles
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, serving, and hospitality environments
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS; barista experience is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Previous restaurant or café experience preferred; hotel or barista experience is advantageous
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and manage team dynamics
