Manufacturing Technician - Grade 2 Material Handler

Cancoil Thermal Corporation is a Canadian manufacturer of custom heat exchangers, refrigeration coils, and HVAC components. We are growing and looking for reliable, hands-on team members to join our production team in Kingston, Ontario.

Whether you have manufacturing experience or are looking to build a skilled trade-related career, we provide on-the-job training and opportunities to learn specialized manufacturing processes.

What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work alongside experienced team members to assemble custom HVAC and refrigeration components using work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Your responsibilities may include

- Assembling heat exchangers, refrigeration coils, and air conditioning coils
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
- Measuring materials accurately using tape measures and basic measuring tools
- Threading tubes through coil components and assembling parts by hand
- Using hand tools and production equipment safely
- Locating materials and preparing components for assembly
- Maintaining quality standards and following detailed specifications
- Working collaboratively with a supportive production team
- Following all health and safety policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required in a manufacturing setting




- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during a shift
- Comfortable learning to read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Manufacturing, assembly, construction, warehouse, or skilled trades experience is considered an asset

Shift Requirements Applicants must be available to work a rotating shift schedule:

- Days: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Afternoons: 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
