Marine / Boat Mechanic

Role Overview

Port Carmen Marina is seeking a skilled Marine/Boat Mechanic to join our agile team for the season. You will diagnose, service, and repair a variety of watercraft, handling everything from mid-season fixes to end-of-season care.Location

Compensation & Benefits

- Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

- Job Type: Part-Time / Seasonal

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and repair inboard, outboard, and sterndrive engines.

- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, fuel system flushes, and diagnostics.

- Execute full winterization procedures and professional boat wrapping/shrink-wrapping.

- Diagnose electrical, fuel, and hydraulic system issues.

- Maintain clean, organized, and safe shop work areas.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a marine or automotive mechanic.

- Hands-on experience with winterization and shrink-wrapping processes.

- Deep knowledge of gas/diesel engines and marine systems.

- Valid and clean driver's license (mandatory).

- Must bring your own standard technician tools.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
