Job Title: Marketing & Events Manager

Glitch, Victoria’s premier arcade nightclub — and its hidden sister speakeasy, Pour & Famous, a premium cocktail lounge. is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team. This exciting position combines the responsibilities of managing our social media presence with organizing and hosting themed events and parties.

This role is central to our guest experience, revenue growth, and brand elevation. You will blend hospitality excellence with sales acumen and creative event production to cultivate a loyal VIP community, drive ticketed events, secure corporate bookings, and amplify our presence across Victoria and beyond.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced nightlife setting, loves building relationships, and is motivated by performance-based earnings. You will help create unforgettable nights where guests “Insert Coin. Lose Track of Time.” while delivering exceptional service in both the high-energy arcade nightclub and the intimate, upscale speakeasy setting.

Event Creation, Execution & Sales

- Conceptualize, create, and fully execute engaging events (e.g., Sindustry Sunday , themed parties, ticketed experiences, speakeasy soirées).
- Sell tickets for all events and drive attendance through personal networks and targeted outreach.
- Identify, pitch, and secure corporate events, private parties, team-building nights, product launches, and group bookings.
- Oversee end-to-end event logistics, including setup, staffing coordination, on-site management, and post-event follow-up.





Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Proactively hunt for and close corporate and private bookings.
- Develop and nurture partnerships with local businesses, event planners, hotels, and organizations.
- Contribute to overall venue revenue targets through VIP sales, ticket sales, and upselling premium experiences.

Marketing & Social Media
- Manage and grow the social media presence for both venues (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) — creating compelling content, stories, reels, and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate on guerrilla marketing, influencer partnerships, and teaser campaigns to build buzz and drive foot traffic.
- Represent the brand at relevant industry events and networking opportunities.

Additional Duties
- Work closely with ownership and operations team on menu promotions, pricing strategies, and venue enhancements.
- Maintain deep knowledge of both concepts — arcade games, cocktail program, music, history, and unique selling points.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discretion (especially for speakeasy access), and brand alignment.
- Track and report on key metrics: ticket sales, VIP bookings, corporate revenue, social engagement, and guest feedback.





Qualifications & Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — you are outgoing, polished, and naturally magnetic.
- Robust sales and negotiation abilities with a track record of hitting revenue targets.
- Creative mindset with experience planning and executing successful events.
- Social media savvy — able to create engaging content that drives real-world results.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and occasional late nights (venues open until 2am).
- Valid Serving It Right certificate (or ability to obtain immediately).
- Knowledge of Victoria’s nightlife and corporate event scene is a strong asset.
- Passion for craft cocktails, music, and creating memorable experiences.
- Professional appearance and strong personal brand that aligns with an upscale-yet-fun venue.

- Performance Incentives:
- 25% commission on all ticket sales for events you create.
- 10% commission on corporate booking sales you bring to us
- 10% commission on VIP table and bottle service bookings.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
