We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Math Tutor to support high school students in developing strong mathematical skills and academic confidence. The tutor will provide personalized instruction, assist with homework and test preparation, and help students improve their understanding of curriculum concepts.

Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for high school students

- Teach and explain math concepts clearly and patiently

- Assist students with homework, assignments, quizzes, and exam preparation

- Develop lesson plans and practice materials based on student needs

- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents when required

- Encourage positive study habits and critical thinking skills

- Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and abilities





- Maintain a supportive and professional learning workplace

Subjects May Include

- Grade 9–12 Mathematics

- Algebra

- Geometry

- Functions and Advanced Functions

- Calculus and Vectors

- Trigonometry

- Data Management / Statistics

Qualifications

- Strong background in Mathematics or a related field

- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Patient, organized, and reliable

- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging way

- Familiarity with Canadian high school curriculum is an asset

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
