Join our dynamic team as a Mechanic/Road Side Assistance technician, where you will be the first responder to vehicle and equipment breakdowns on the road. Duties

- Respond quickly to roadside assistance requests, diagnosing vehicle or equipment issues on-site.
- Perform repairs including mechanical fixes, electrical troubleshooting, welding, and component replacements using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct maintenance on a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to identify problems accurately and execute effective repairs.
- Operate heavy machinery safely during repair or recovery processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with assembly, disassembly, and routine inspections of industrial equipment to prevent future breakdowns.




- Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures, timelines, and safety precautions to ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications

- Proven mechanic or automotive repair experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Dealership experience or background working with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, Caterpillar machinery, or forklifts is highly preferred.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and reading schematics for troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC components related to vehicles or industrial machinery.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment including industrial machinery and farm implements.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience working with heavy equipment operation or maintenance is a plus.
