Duties

- Operate and monitor various mixing machinery to ensure proper blending of ingredients according to product specifications
- Measure and add ingredients accurately using basic math skills to maintain consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work area in compliance with food safety standards
- Perform routine inspections of machinery, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and report maintenance needs promptly
- Assist with packaging finished products efficiently while adhering to safety and quality protocols




- Use forklifts safely to move raw materials or finished goods within the facility when necessary
- Follow all food industry regulations and manufacturing procedures to ensure safe production practices

Skills

- Knowledge of packaging processes within a food industry or manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently (certification preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly
- Strong understanding of sanitation procedures specific to food processing facilities
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and adjusting recipes as needed
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in manufacturing environments
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while maintaining attention to detail
