Truck, Reefer & Trailer Fleet Maintenance Technician

Join a growing transportation company looking for an experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic to keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

We are seeking a highly skilled, dependable, and self-motivated Mobile Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on our fleet of semi-trucks, reefer trailers, and dry van trailers. This is a full-time position with year-round work, competitive compensation, and the chance to work independently while making a direct impact on our operations.

What You'll Be Working On

- Preventive maintenance and inspections on tractors and trailers
- Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and air systems
- Working on Cummins-powered equipment
- Using Cummins diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting tools
- Repairing and maintaining reefer trailer units
- Trailer repairs on dry vans and refrigerated trailers
- Emergency and roadside repairs when necessary
- Replacing and servicing tires (equipment provided)
- Maintaining service records and communicating repair recommendations

Requirements ✅ Minimum 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred

✅ Strong experience with Cummins engines

✅ Experience using Cummins INSITE and related diagnostic software

✅ Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and emission-related issues

✅ Must provide your own mechanic tools

✅ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

✅ Valid driver's license

✅ Dependable, professional, and safety-focused





✅ Must be willing to assist with tire replacements and tire service work

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on Class 8 trucks
- Reefer trailer repair experience (Thermo King and/or Carrier experience is a plus)
- Mobile mechanic experience
- CDL is an asset but not required
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus

We welcome technicians who have their own service vehicles. If you use your own service truck for company work, fuel expenses will be covered and compensated by the company, with additional terms discussed during the interview process.
