Job Summary

Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre Calgary is looking a passionate and versatile Multi Cuisine Cook to join our energetic culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes spanning multiple cuisines, including but not limited to Indian, Chinese & Continental ensuring exceptional quality, taste, and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills across diverse culinary traditions while contributing to a vibrant food service environment.

Duties

- Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes from different cuisines, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate.

- Follow standardized recipes and presentation guidelines to meet restaurant standards.

- Manage food preparation tasks efficiently, including chopping, marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations.

- Buffet and Banquet events

- Handle food service responsibilities such as plating dishes attractively and serving guests promptly.

- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock rotation,



and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

- Adhere strictly to food handling procedures to guarantee safety and hygiene at all times.

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting.

- Strong knowledge of multiple cuisines, ingredients, and cooking techniques.

- Excellent serving skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.

- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.

- Prior kitchen experience that demonstrates versatility across various culinary styles is highly desirable.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum two years’ experience in an Indian Kitchen is required

- Experience in buffet and Banquet cooking required.

Physical requirements

- Standing for long periods of time

- Working in a hot kitchen environment

- Weekend availability is required
