Kova Engineering South Ltd is currently seeking a CSA W178.2 CWB level 2 or CGSB Ultrasonics Level 2 inspector for support with a long term project. 60+ hrs a week in Calgary until the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027. You will only be considered for this job if you have CWB2 or UT2 certifcation. MT2 is a plus. If a Candidate has an inspection or engineering background specific to lifting equipment, a full time position maybe available at the end of the project.

Do not apply in person unless the hold valid UT2 or CWB2 certification The responsibilities of the successful applicant will include, but not be limited to the following:

- Visual Inspections and NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) of welded joints.
- Technical report writing.
- Maintain positive customer relations and participate in the promotion of the company.

Candidate Profile:

- Verbal and written communication skills.
- High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.




- Fast learner, strong work ethic, and desire to grow professionally.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working outside, at heights, and in industrial environments.
- Clean driving record.

Work Hours:

- Monday through Friday and some Saturdays, 60+ hours per week in Calgary, Alberta.

Wages

- Hourly Wages will be based on certification held and the candidate's background/experience.
