Job Overview

Logic NDT Solutions is seeking a motivated NDT Inspector to join our Nisku team. This role is responsible for performing non-destructive testing inspections, dimensional inspections, documentation, and supporting repair and maintenance activities for oilfield drilling and downhole equipment. The successful candidate will be cross-trained in additional services offered by Logic, including Shot Peening and equipment handling operations.

We are looking for individuals with a strong inspection background, mechanical aptitude, and experience working in oil fields, manufacturing or repair service environments.

Responsibilities

- Perform NDT inspections and prepare accurate digital inspection reports in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of oilfield equipment and components.
- Support repair, maintenance, and inspection activities for drilling and downhole tools.
- Complete all required inspection and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform Shot Peening services under the direction of the supervisor.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and equipment preparation.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure tools are in proper working condition.
- Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements.
- Complete daily hazard assessments and participate in safety initiatives.
- Support after-hours work when required.
- Cross-train and assist in other service lines as business needs require.

Qualifications





- Minimum 2 years of experience in NDT inspection, quality control, manufacturing inspection, or related industrial environments.
- Current certification in PT and MT.
- Experience reading engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Successful completion of vision acuity and color perception testing.
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and related equipment.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

- Experience inspecting downhole tools, drilling tools, BHA components, mud motors, or oilfield equipment.
- Experience in oilfield manufacturing, repair, or service operations.
- Familiarity with API inspection requirements and standards.
- Experience performing DS-1 inspections.
- Knowledge of API RP 7G-2, API Spec 7-1, and API Spec 7-2.
- Previous Shot Peening experience.
- Additional NDT certifications or inspection qualifications.

Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour
