Key Responsibilities

Operational Support & Enablement

● Act as the primary IT support contact for the operations floor and business-critical systems

● Design and implement IT processes to support new clients and operational workflows

● Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide operational visibility

● Identify and remove technical bottlenecks impacting operational throughput

Infrastructure & Systems Management

● Administer Active Directory, Proxmox, Linux, Windows, SQL Server environments, and Microsoft 365 tenant

● Manage, and secure multiple logically air-gapped networks

● Manage VPN access and secure file transfer (SFTP) solutions

● Manage backup and recovery systems (e.g., Veeam, Proxmox Backup Server)

● Plan, execute, and test disaster recovery procedures

Automation & Process Improvements

● Develop automation (using PowerShell and other low-code platforms) to improve IT and operational efficiency





● Create proof-of-concept technical solutions to support client onboarding and project executions

● Troubleshoot and modify internal applications (C#) as required

● Maintain technical documentation and a centralized knowledge base

Security & Risk Management

● Implement cybersecurity best practices and security awareness initiatives

● Ensure secure handling of sensitive data and systems

● Proactively identify security risks and recommend mitigation strategies

Leadership & Coordination

● Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior technical staff

● Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders

● Source, procure, and implement IT hardware and software resources

● Lead infrastructure refreshes and data center / rack reconfiguration activities

Required Skills & Experience

● Strong experience in IT operations and infrastructure

● Broad technical knowledge across networking, systems, databases, Microsoft 365, and security

● Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell/.NET preferred)

● Strong communication (front line and executive level communications) and strong problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

● Experience with Proxmox virtualization and backup solutions

● Knowledge of Docker and containerized applications

● Familiarity with Linux environments and system administration

● Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience

● Familiarity with document scanning solutions (e.g., Kodak Capture Pro, InputAccel, Fujitsu PaperStream)
