Responsibilities

· Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments and room changes according to brand standards

· Process and secures all payments, cash, and related transactions with accuracy and integrity including but not limited to activate/reissue room keys, vouchers, reconciling. and so on

· Verify and adjust billing for guests as needed

· Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics

· Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities

· Operate telephone switchboard station when required

· Run and check daily reports, contingency lists and credit card authorization reports

· Supply guest with directions and information

· Answer and process all guest calls, requests, questions and concerns; follow up to ensure each has been met/exceeded to guest’s satisfaction

· Arrange transportation for guests/visitors

· Supports the team as needed

· Other tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

· 1+ years previous experience working as a front desk agent or in a similar role

· This is an overnight position therefore,



long term ability to work overnights specifically during the weekends and flexible to work part time as needed, understanding that shifts will range from 0-16 weekly hours according to the fluctuating season and hotel occupancy

· Must have excellent communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills

· Trustworthy individual capable of working with minimal supervision

· Technical skills should include experience in MS Word, Excel and other related Hotel Systems (ie. Marsha)

· Must display a high level of initiative; with a demonstrated ability to manage complex situations and assume responsibility to problem solve and make effective decisions independently

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
