Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled custom Plastic Extrusion Night shift supervisor/Lead hand to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining extruders, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems, quality control processes, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Duties

- Must have experience with custom profiles
- Set up and operate extruding machines that extrude custom plastic profiles using plastic composites through a die
- Change dies on the extruders according to the production line change
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and make minor repairs to equipment
- Monitor quality of material produced
- Maintain inventory of material and clean working area.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Supervisor/Operator in a custom plastic extrusion company.




- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and using calipers.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in manufacturing.
- Experience in operating extruding machines is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
