Role Description The Nightshift Laundry Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based at the Thunderbird Laundry facility in Cochrane, ON. In this position, the attendant loads, washes, dries, and folds linens and garments according to established procedures and safety standards. Daily tasks include operating and monitoring commercial washers and dryers, sorting items by fabric type and soil level, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area.

The attendant inspects finished items for quality,



prepares orders for delivery or pickup, and reports equipment issues or safety concerns to leadership. This role also involves basic record-keeping, following scheduling and production targets, and supporting a respectful, collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

Practical experience with laundry operations, including Laundry and Laundry Services in a commercial or high-volume setting.

Ability to safely and efficiently operate and monitor Dryers and related laundry equipment.

Strong Communication skills for working with team members and following instructions accurately.

Customer Service mindset, with attention to quality and meeting client expectations.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts in office in Cochrane, ON.

Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift and move laundry bags, and perform repetitive tasks safely.

Understanding of basic workplace health and safety practices; previous industrial or facility experience is an asset.
