Notary, Estate Law - South Shore

Our client, a multidisciplinary law firm located on Montreal’s South Shore, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Notary who wishes to grow within a professional environment focused on exceptional client service and high-quality legal advice.

We are looking for a notary with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in notarial practice, with strong expertise in human rights, estate law, and estate planning.

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will independently manage a variety of files, including:

- Drafting notarized wills;
- Preparing protection mandates (mandates in anticipation of incapacity);
- Estate and wealth planning;
- Estate settlement and administration;
- Providing legal advice to clients on estate, wealth planning, and personal protection matters.

Qualifications The ideal candidate:

- Has a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in notarial practice;
- Demonstrates solid expertise in personal law and estate law;
- Is able to manage files independently and efficiently;
- Exhibits strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism;
- Possesses excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills;




- Is recognized for a client-focused approach, solid listening skills, and commitment to delivering outstanding service;
- Is a member in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
