Overview

Unity Health Toronto is a proud participant of the Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) program. The NGG provides new graduates and internationally educated nurses with opportunities for extensive orientation, preceptorship by an experienced nurse, acquisition of recent clinical knowledge and skills, and learning how to prioritize patient care needs and manage a workload.

Eligibility

Program is open to Canadian and internationally educated nurses who meet the following criteria:

Canadian Educated Nurses

- Graduated with a baccalaureate degree in nursing or a diploma from a practical nursing program in Canada;
- Match with an employer on the NGG online portal within 12 months of registering with the CNO;
- Commit to accepting full‑time employment or the equivalent with their NGG employer after completing the NGG program transition into practice period.

Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs)

- Completed their nursing education outside of Canada;
- Match with an employer on the NGG online portal within 12 months of registering with the CNO;
- Commit to accepting full‑time employment or the equivalent with their NGG employer after completing the NGG program transition into practice period.

How to Apply





- Submit your application to any RN or RPN job posting on Unity’s Employment Opportunities page in your area of interest or apply directly to this posting and indicate your area of interest when answering the screening questions.
- Visit HFO’s NGG online portal and register as a Nursing User. Once registered, you can apply to posted positions on the NGG portal. Please apply to any posting of interest from Unity Health Toronto, including the following:
- 14571 – Registered Nurse, Unity Health Toronto
- 14572 – Registered Practical Nurse, Unity Health Toronto

Salary

- Registered Practical Nurse (RPN): $35.60 – $39.02
- Registered Nurse (RN): $41.15 – $58.98
