Job Profile: Occupational Health Technician (audiometry and spirometry)
Hines Health Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Technician (casual) for our clinic in Fort McMurray, AB. The successful candidate will support occupational health testing and surveillance programs by conducting medical screening services and assisting with clinic operations. The Occupational Health Technician plays a key role in delivering efficient, accurate, and skilled occupational health services to our clients.
Location & Schedule:
- Must be able to work at HHS clinic location in Fort McMurray, AB.
- Casual basis, 8 hrs/day
Compensation: CA$28.00 - CA$35.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities:
· Prepare clients for occupational health assessments and ensure all required documentation is completed.
· Maintain accurate and confidential records using electronic medical record systems.
· Ensure testing equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated according to established procedures.
· Maintain inventory of clinic supplies and testing materials.
· Support mobile and on-site occupational health programs as required.
· Support clinic operations and quality assurance initiatives.
Qualifications
· Certificate in audiometry, spirometry, and drug and alcohol testing is mandatory requirement.
· Minimum of two (2) year of occupational health, industrial, healthcare, or clinic experience preferred.
· Experience conducting audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, and drug and alcohol testing is considered an asset.
· Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
· Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.
· Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment.
· Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
· Must be able to work at the HHS clinic location in Fort McMurray, AB.
