Sprott Money is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational functions of our precious metals business, including inventory, pricing, logistics, storage, fulfillment, and client service. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring transactions and operational processes move efficiently from purchase through final delivery or storage.

The Operations

Manager will work closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, suppliers, logistics providers, storage facilities, and other external partners to ensure a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, and service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accountable, comfortable managing high-value transactions and shipments, and able to improve processes while keeping day-to-day operations moving.

Key Responsibilities Operations & Client Service Oversee daily operational activities and ensure timely execution of client and business requests.

Maintain transparent service standards, turnaround times, ownership, and escalation procedures for operational requests.

Work closely with Sales, Finance, and other departments to resolve operational issues and support client transactions.

Meet with clients and service providers to resolve issues and make recommendations.

Review and approve business and storage applications.

Track priority and time-sensitive requests through completion. Inventory & Pricing

Manage and monitor precious metals inventory across internal systems and e-commerce platforms, including Magento and Amazon.

Oversee inventory pricing and ensure pricing information is accurate and current.

Recommend inventory additions based on sales activity, forecasts, market conditions, and business requirements.

Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding inventory availability and replenishment.

Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Logistics,



Shipping & Storage Manage the movement of high-value shipments from purchase order through final delivery or storage.

Oversee inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments.

Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, storage facilities, clients, and internal departments.

Track international and priority shipments and verify packing lists and supporting documentation.

Prepare and review customs and export documentation and ensure shipments comply with applicable Canadian and international requirements.

Complete required export reporting through the Canadian Export Reporting System (CERS) and maintain appropriate documentation.

Determine and track applicable duties and taxes.

Coordinate storage client audits and activities with storage facilities.

Resolve order, shipment, delivery, and storage discrepancies with suppliers and service providers.

Process

Improvement & Systems Develop and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, service quality, and accountability.

Use systems, technology, and workflow improvements to reduce manual work and operational delays.

Establish and monitor operational KPIs and service levels.

Identify recurring operational issues and implement practical solutions.

Ensure accurate operational records and reporting across relevant systems.

Team Leadership

Lead, train, schedule, and develop Operations staff.

Establish clear responsibilities and performance expectations.

Manage team performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

Develop operational training materials, procedures, and documentation.

Promote accountability, collaboration,



and timely communication across departments. Vendor & Business Management Manage relationships with logistics providers, storage facilities, suppliers, and other service providers.

Negotiate rates and monitor operational expenses.

Evaluate vendor performance, service levels, and costs.

Support sales promotions, trade shows, conferences, and other business initiatives when required.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or a related field.

Previous experience managing or leading a team.

Experience handling high-value goods, financial products, precious metals, or other high-security products is an asset.

Strong understanding of inventory management, shipping, fulfillment, and vendor management.

Experience with international shipping, customs documentation, duties, and import/export processes.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage urgent and complex operational issues.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively across Sales, Finance, Marketing, and other departments.

Experience with ERP, CRM, inventory management, or e-commerce systems. Magento and Amazon experience is an asset.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and accountability are critical. What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of operations from start to finish. The successful candidate will be proactive, organized, solutions-oriented, and comfortable balancing day-to-day execution with longer-term process improvement.

Experience in precious metals, financial services, high-value logistics, inventory management, or secure storage would be particularly valuable.
