We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily business operations across our retail locations. This pivotal role involves overseeing store activities, managing teams, and ensuring exceptional customer service while driving sales growth. As an Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive work environment, implementing effective merchandising strategies, and maintaining operational efficiency to meet company goals.

Duties

- Lead and supervise store teams, including recruiting, training, coaching, and developing staff to ensure high performance and engagement
- Oversee daily store operations at multiple locations
- Manage inventory purchasing, pricing strategies, merchandising displays, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to maximize sales opportunities
- Monitor sales performance and implement sales management techniques to achieve revenue targets
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract customers and boost store visibility
- Conduct regular store inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, cleanliness, and organizational policies
- Handle budgeting responsibilities, including payroll processing, bookkeeping, and financial recordkeeping to maintain operational integrity

Qualifications

- Minimum five years of progressive supervising or management experience within retail, petroleum, agro, food,



home centre environments or multi-unit operations with a focus on store management or sales management
- Business Degree or Diploma is considered an asset
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities
- Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, training & development, and team management practices
- Proficiency in payroll processing, cash handling, bookkeeping, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of merchandising principles, pricing strategies, POS systems, and purchasing procedures
- Experience with marketing initiatives and customer service excellence standards
- Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced environment; previous administrative experience is highly valued
- Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work culture
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
