Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated OR Co-Ordinator to join our growing Pediatric and Orthodontic dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support the dental team, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Experience with Curve dental software, along with knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and surgery would be highly valued. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a professional environment committed to delivering high-quality dental services.

Duties

- Co-Ordinate and schedule surgical appointments and treatment plans.

- Communicate with patients and families regarding surgical appointments pre/post op instructions and financial arrangements.

- Prepare and maintain surgical charts, consent forms, referrals, and required documentation.

- Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary prior authorizations.

- Ensure all required medical histories, diagnostic records, and paperwork are completed prior to surgery.

- Confirm appointments and manage cancellations or schedule changes.

- Maintain accurate electronic patient records and ensure confidentiality.

- Assist with billing related to surgical procedures when required.





- Monitor surgical waitlists and help maximize schedule efficiency.

- Provide exceptional customer service while addressing patient questions and concerns.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in dental administration or surgical coordination preferred.

- Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and insurance processes.

- Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Curve Dental) is an asset.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a quick-paced environment.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
