Position: Packaging Associate.

Job Type: Full Time, Monday to Friday, Start time 7:00 a.m.

Work Location: Nossack Fine Meats, Red Deer, 4951A 78 St, Red Deer, AB T4P1N5

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Minimum Credentials: Grade 12 diploma.

Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred, must have experience in Ready to Eat.

Objective: Package products.

- We are looking for people with a flexible mindset and willing to perform other tasks as assigned.
- Orientation includes (1-day for Orientation, 2-weeks review, 3-month review and annual review).
- Starting Wage: $16-$18 per hour.

Main Responsibilities:





- Transport finished products and packaging materials throughout plant and warehouse manually, or with powered equipment.
- Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
- Clean work areas and equipment.
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
- Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
- Follow all HACCP and Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Experience as a labourer in food or beverage processing is considered an asset.
- Must be able to work in a wet, refrigerated environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to withstand repetitive movements.
- Must be able to lift __40___ pounds.
- English level 5 (minimum) is required.
