Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of various painting methods, materials, and tools, as well as the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

The Painter & Decorator will be responsible for executing both residential and commercial projects, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional workmanship.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools and power tools.
- Execute drywall repairs and preparation prior to painting.
- Ensure proper mixing of paints and materials for optimal results.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.




- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide updates on project progress.
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Experience

- Proven experience in construction painting and residential painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is essential.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the painting trade.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to perform caulking tasks with precision.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
