Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of products and components, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and adherence to safety standards. Duties

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and spray equipment safely and effectively to apply paint or coatings
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues related to painting processes
- Follow detailed instructions and specifications for color matching, coating thickness, and application techniques
- Maintain a clean workspace by properly disposing of waste materials and organizing tools and supplies
- Assist with assembly or machining tasks as needed to support production flow
- Conduct inspections of finished work for quality control,

Qualifications

- Proven experience with painting techniques in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, spray guns, welding equipment, and other relevant machinery
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction
- Ability to operate forklifts or cranes is a plus but not required; training can be provided
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and safety awareness
