Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring the highest standards of quality in every project.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Use hand tools (has own), and power tools effectively to complete painting tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with good communication
- Good head for heights as use of ladders / lifts / scaffolds is frequent
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe work workplace at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial or residential painting projects
- Knowledge related to surface preparation and coating application
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools
- Experience working with ladders
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all safety regulations
