Downtown Edmonton, Part Time Day Shift

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and observant Parking Lot Patroller to ensure the safety and security of our parking facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring parking areas, enforcing regulations, and providing excellent customer service to patrons.

You'll be required to use your own vehicle, candidate should have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance. Patrollers will have their fuel card incentive on a monthly basis subject to driven route kilometers.

Responsibilities

- Monitor parking lots to ensure compliance with parking regulations and policies.
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle, maintaining visibility to deter unauthorized parking.
- Communicate effectively with patrons regarding parking rules, directions, and assistance as needed.
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of parking violations and incidents for reporting purposes.
- Assist in managing traffic flow during peak hours to ensure safety and efficiency.




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to parking.

Qualifications

- Robust communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with the public.
- Attention to detail and a keen sense of observation to identify potential issues.
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in security, customer service, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on patrol methods.
