Position Summary The HR & Community Outreach Coordinator plays a dual role in supporting workforce development and strengthening community relationships. This position is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and supporting home health care staff while also building partnerships with community organizations, referral sources, and local stakeholders to promote services and enhance client access.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Functions

- Coordinate recruitment efforts including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and hiring
- Manage onboarding and orientation for current caregivers and staff
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and healthcare regulations
- Support staff scheduling, retention initiatives, and employee engagement programs
- Assist with performance management processes and training coordination
- Address employee inquiries and support a positive workplace culture

Community Outreach Functions

- Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, senior centers, and community organizations
- Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities
- Coordinate outreach campaigns to promote home health services
- Identify partnership opportunities to expand client referrals
- Deliver presentations or informational sessions about available care services




- Track outreach activities and measure community engagement outcomes

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in HR, recruitment, or community outreach (healthcare preferred)
- Knowledge of home health care regulations and staffing challenges is an asset
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage both administrative and external-facing responsibilities
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office
