Mogano Jewelry is currently looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Sales Associate to join our retail team at our beautiful Kelowna store. The right individual for this role is naturally warm and welcoming with customers and brings positive energy that makes shopping at Mogano a memorable experience. This person is outgoing, great at striking up conversations with strangers, and genuinely enjoys helping people find pieces that make them feel confident and celebrated — especially during the busiest, most meaningful shopping season of the year.

This is a part-time role of approximately 16- 24 hours per week, covering Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (occasional weekends), with additional hours through our busy season (Black Friday, Christmas and the lead-up to the holidays). Training begins immediately — we want you confident on the floor well before the holiday rush. The compensation for this role is $19.85 per hour, plus an amazing 35% staff discount on all Mogano merchandise and shared tips from permanent jewelry appointments!

We also love to give our team incentives for sales goals and other achievements!

Retail experience is helpful but not required — we're happy to train the right person who has the right attitude and energy! You are someone who thrives in a team environment, is comfortable talking to strangers, and can easily engage customers in genuine conversation.

You bring a positive, can-do attitude even during the busiest moments, and you're flexible and willing to jump in wherever you're needed.

You're also comfortable on camera and contributing to social media content — whether that's being featured in Instagram stories, TikToks, or helping showcase the Mogano experience online. You're someone who takes pride in doing things right, pays attention to the details, and loves being part of creating something special for our customers.

- Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a warm, welcoming environment for every customer who walks through our doors.
- Engaging with customers through genuine conversation, helping them find the perfect pieces for themselves or as gifts for their loved ones.
- Educating customers about the Mogano brand, our skin-safe jewelry, and what makes our pieces special.
- Assisting customers in finding specific items and suggesting complementary pieces to complete their look.
- Guiding gift shoppers through the holiday season — helping them choose confidently for the people they love.
- Performing permanent jewelry appointments — welding custom-fitted, claspless bracelets, anklets, and necklaces for customers. Full training will be provided!
- Performing custom engraving services for customers, personalizing pieces with names, dates, and meaningful messages. Full training will be provided!
- Handling cash transactions, processing payments, and maintaining accuracy with all sales.
- Packing and fulfilling online orders with care and attention to detail.
- Assisting with opening and closing duties, ensuring the store is secure and ready for the next day.
- Maintaining visual standards — keeping displays, counters, and the store beautifully organized and on-brand.
- Collaborating with the team to keep the store clean and tidy, including sweeping, cleaning, and restocking merchandise.
- Supporting inventory management and restocking to ensure we're always ready for our customers.
- Being comfortable on camera and contributing to social media content that showcases the Mogano brand and connects with our community.
- Supporting seasonal markets, pop-ups and evening events, including set-up, tear-down, and creating an amazing experience for customers at community activations.
- Being flexible and jumping in wherever you're needed — especially during our busiest periods!

Education & Experience

- Retail or customer service experience is preferred, but we're happy to train the right person with the right attitude and energy!




- Previous experience in jewelry or accessories is helpful but not required.
- Must be outgoing, friendly, and genuinely comfortable talking to strangers and making conversation.
- Must be a dependable team player who shows up on time and ready to work.
- Comfortable being on camera and contributing to social media content.
- Willing to be flexible and adaptable — able to shift gears quickly during busy periods.
- Positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
- MUST be available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, occasional weekends.
- MUST be able to take on additional hours through November and December, including some evenings and weekends during the holiday season.
- A true love for making people feel great and helping them find pieces they'll treasure!
