Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our Heavy duty Truck and Trailer repair team! In this energetic role, you will serve as the vital link between customers, technicians, and suppliers by providing expert advice on parts and accessories, managing inventory, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. Duties

- Assist Mechanics in selecting the correct parts and accessories through knowledgeable recommendations and excellent customer service.
- Manage inventory levels using Quickbooks Online and ensure accurate stock records.
- Process suppliers bills and expense transactions efficiently, including customer invoicing.
- Collaborate with service technicians to identify parts needed for repairs and maintenance jobs.
- Maintain organized shelving and storage areas to facilitate quick access and order fulfillment.
- Utilize communication skills to negotiate prices, explain product features, and address customer inquiries professionally.




- Driving to go get parts in event of urgency or that delivery from supplier is unavailable.
- Must be able to life heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift training and experience is an asset.

Experience

- Previous dealership experience or retail sales background preferred.
- Familiarity with Quickbooks systems and inventory management software is an asset.
- Knowledge of Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer repair processes, parts cataloging, and order fulfillment procedures is an asset.
- Robust organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and negotiation techniques.
- Experience in Truck and Trailer or repair shop environment is advantageous.
