Summary Of Duties
- Prepare and co-ordinate all clerical activities for clinics, such as booking client appointments, chart preparation for multiple services
- Preparing correspondence to support clinics; ongoing communication with each team
- Patient Registration and updating of patient information and scheduling appointment
- Handle large volume of incoming calls, emails; book large volume of referrals
- Payroll duties as required
- Other administrative duties as required
- Order supplies
Qualifications/Skills
- Completion of Medical Office Administration program or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- One year of Administrative/Business experience required, in a health care setting preferred
- Working knowledge of PHS/PAS, QuadraMed, Sunnycare, Outlook and MS Office Weber,PSS an asset
- Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proven ability to respond effectively in a stressful situations
- Excellent problem solving skills, ability to deal with conflict and communicate appropriately with patients, families and staff
- Effective time management skills and ability to multitask is essential
- Demonstrated Patient-Focused Care/Customer Service behavior
- Advanced organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast- paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated understanding and ability to work in an inter-qualified team
- Keyboarding at 40 net w.p.m minute or keyboarding at 106 net keystrokes per minute
- Demonstrated satisfactory attendance and punctuality required
