Location: Burnaby, BC Pay: $38–$45 per hour, based on experience Employment Type: Full-time, year-round Description Burnaby Blacktop Ltd. is looking for an experienced Paving Foreman to lead asphalt paving crews on municipal, commercial, and industrial projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality work, safety, productivity, and cost control.

Experience Required Minimum 3–5 years of asphalt paving experience, with foreman or lead hand experience Qualification What We’re Looking For Strong knowledge of paving operations, grading, and equipment

Experience with job costing, daily reports, and production tracking

Ability to lead a crew and communicate clearly on-site

Strong safety mindset and problem-solving skills

Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 is an asset)

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Responsibilities What You’ll Do Lead and supervise paving crews on-site

Plan daily work activities and coordinate crew, equipment,



and materials

Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification

Read and interpret drawings, grades, and site plans

Work closely with project managers and superintendents

Complete accurate job costing, including labor, equipment, and material tracking

Monitor productivity and adjust operations to stay on budget

Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized job site
